The Gift of Faith!

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

 Faith, what an “unspeakable gift” from God! It was this wondrous gift of faith in the gospel of Christ, that brought the glorious grace of God into my heart, that saved my wretched soul!

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

 God has reminded me once again, that faith is everything to His children.

**There is the Promise of Trusting Faith!

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

 It is only by God’s shield of faith we can withstand the constant attacks of satan’s fiery darts trying to fill our minds with doubt, discouragement, depression and defeat!

**There is the Power of True Faith!

1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

 Victory over the world is ours through faith in our faithful Lord and King!

**There is the Peace of Tested Faith!

1Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

 What peace and joy this tested faith brings to our souls!

**There is the Preciousness of Tried Faith!

1Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

 God said, when our faith has been tried with His fire if becomes ever so much more precious than anything we can imagine!

**And there is the Praise of Triumphant Faith!

2Timothy 4:6-8 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

 What a day that will be when we, by His grace will be able to give Christ all the glory and praise for His glorious grace through His triumphant faith!
